we scooped the NYT

Hey hey! Check this out! My rant actually presaged this feature in today's New York Times.

For consumers, a recommendation system can either represent a vaguely annoying invasion of privacy or a big help in bringing order to a sea of choices.

For the record, may I repeat, I am firmly in the "annoying invasion of privacy" camp.
