Happy St. Patrick's Day Birthday to MCC, one of my all-time favorites. How I wish we could be together today for a face-to-face conversation.
Last weekend in St. Louis I was turning over in my mind what led me to the two shows there (Webb Wilder and Tommy Womack on consecutive nights). Like most of the music I love, it all traces back to a fateful tape that MCC gave me in the summer of 1985. It was one of the best gifts I ever had.
I stood in a living room last weekend talking to a total stranger about the dBs. All because of MCC.
