Very sad to learn that Buck Owens died today. He was one of the greats and someone I had always secretly hoped to see in concert. I will always have a soft spot for Dwight Yoakam because he has worked hard to keep Buck Owens' name and legacy alive. Bakersfield spawned three of my favorites: Owens, Yoakam and Dave Alvin.

I do wonder where Owens' red, white and blue striped guitar (made famous on "Hee Haw") is today?
