Mapgirl Dark Secret #17: I am a slob. I never really thought I was messy, until I had to keep my condo neat as a pin for days on end in hopes of selling it. It's really, really hard. And very annoying.
You know all the tricks you can use when you're cleaning your house for company? Like throwing things in a closet or under the sink, sometimes in the oven or even in the shower? None of those work when you've listed your property, because potential buyers want to see closets, cabinets and closets.
So I have been in quite the pickle.
After three days on the market, someone bought my condo. A Christmas miracle! Now I can return to my slovenly ways.
