People actually stared.
But where I come from, 55 degrees is convertible weather. So, blessed with a Sebring convertible as a rental car, I put the top down.
The locals, however, deem this weather "chilly." They apologized that my first day in my new town is too cold! Never cold when it's above 50 degrees, in my book. So let them stare. I'm sure they have figured out I'm not from here.
But when it's this sunny and mild, y'all, the top is going down.
