Aretha just finished the National Anthem, which is about all of the Super Bowl I have an interest in. I loved her rendition -- she could sing the phone book and I'd be pleased. KNS and I saw her in concert many years ago, an event in which Aretha's girls were perilously close to a wardrobe malfunction. I am glad we got through our country's theme song without any unpleasantries.
I hope the Stones have a rockin' half-time show, but I shall be at the movies, taking in "Capote" with JFA. Yes, finally.
